Atlanta, GA November 10, 2020: The Good Food Foundation proudly announced the outstanding food and drink crafters finalists for the 2021 Good Food Award. Food crafters and farmers led the way rising to the top amongst 1,928 entries in 16 categories. Finalists were scored in quality, sustainability and socially responsible production. The trend continues this year as average weekly grocery spending was up 17% year over year.
Judged By Consumers and Food Connoisseurs
For the first time in Good Food Awards history, the public took part in a portion of the judging. In the coffee category, 200 caffeine lovers narrowed down the 203 entries to 30 top picks. These went on to be judged in a formal cupping by industry veterans.
The Good Food Award winners will be announced on Friday, January 22, 2021. This will be broadcast in a virtual Awards Ceremony across the country. The live digital broadcast will offer a unique behind-the-scenes look inside the Winners’ kitchens.
