Built by Bees Honey Vinegar selections are sweet and warm with a tangy bite. Our award-winning collection originates from a distinctive apple cider vinegar mead foundation. After apples and honey are blended together, they are oak barrel aged for 18 months. These are ideal for persons preferring a lower acidity level at 4.1%. All Built by Bees honey vinegars for sale are all natural, fat free, gluten-free, unpasteurized and sulfite free.

The unique taste profile is built on raw honeys and unpasteurized hand-crafted cyser vinegars. We make them in small batches and combine them with seasonal apples bursting with flavor. Enjoy a more natural vinegar – where each bottle contains the nourishing bio-active mother of vinegar.

Honey Vinegars Crafted for Gourmet Cooking

Perfect for a wide range of culinary creations, Built by Bees honey vinegars excel where many traditional vinegars fall short. While most vinegars are limited to vinaigrettes and marinades, our honey vinegars bring depth and balance to a much broader variety of dishes.

From enhancing meats, poultry, and seafood to elevating macaroni and specialty salads, these vinegars are crafted for more ambitious gourmet cooking. When complexity and flavor matter most, Built by Bees honey vinegars truly shine.

These are cyser vinegars, featuring a distinctive foundation of apple cider vinegar and honey mead. Apples and honey are blended and aged for 18 months in oak barrels, creating a smooth, well-rounded flavor. With a lower acidity level of 4.1%, these balsamic-style honey vinegars are all-natural, fat-free, gluten-free, unpasteurized, and sulfite-free.

Fun Fact – Honey Mead: The word honeymoon originally meant “honey month.” It comes from the words honey—from which mead is made—and moon, representing one lunar cycle of 28 days. In Nordic tradition, newly married couples were given a 28-day supply of fermented honey drink, known as mead, customarily provided by the bride’s father to the groom.
